Terms and Conditions — Milan Super Car Rental
Last updated:
These terms govern bookings made through milansupercarrental.com for self-drive luxury and sports car rental, chauffeur-driven hire, wedding car hire and airport delivery in Milan. They apply from the moment you send an enquiry until the vehicle is returned, and they sit alongside the written quote we send you for your specific booking.
Booking and cancellation at a glance
- How you pay
- No online payment on the website. We confirm your booking in writing after sending a quote; the rental fee and deposit are settled by credit card at handover, as stated in your quote.
- Security deposit
- From €10,000 to €250,000, depending on the car, held on a credit card in the main driver's name.
- Deposit release
- Released after the car is returned, once fines and tolls have been checked.
- Cancellation terms
- There is no single fixed schedule. Because these are leisure services booked for a specific date, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply; cancellation terms are set out in your written quote.
- Driver age and licence
- Minimum 23 years old with at least 2 years of licence; minimum 25 for vehicles over 500 hp.
- Mileage
- Any mileage allowance or limit is the one stated in your written quote.
- Fuel
- Return the car with the same fuel level as at handover; missing fuel is charged at cost plus a refuelling service fee.
Scope and who we are
These terms apply to every booking made through milansupercarrental.com, operated under the brand Milan Super Car Rental, serving Milan, Italy. They cover self-drive rental of the cars listed on the site, as well as chauffeur-driven hire, wedding car hire and airport delivery arranged through us.
For any question about a booking or these terms, contact us at [email protected]. If you choose chauffeur-driven hire, references in these terms to "driving" and "driver requirements" apply to the chauffeur we provide rather than to you.
From enquiry to confirmed booking
A booking on this website starts as an enquiry, not a payment. You send us your name, email and dates (and, if relevant, your phone number, preferred car, flight number for airport delivery, and a message), or you contact us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp.
We reply with a written quote covering the car, dates, price, deposit and any conditions specific to that booking. The booking only becomes binding once we confirm it to you in writing. Until that confirmation, an enquiry or a quote is not a reservation and does not guarantee the availability of any particular car.
Prices and what is included
The site lists 15 cars across sport, convertible and supercar categories, with day rates starting from €1,400. The final price for your rental is the one stated in your written quote, which reflects the dates, car and any extras such as chauffeur service, wedding arrangements or airport delivery.
Insurance is included as described in your quote. Fuel, fines, tolls, any excess for at-fault damage and any extras not listed in the quote are not included and are charged separately as set out in these terms.
For a longer day combining, for example, Bergamo, Franciacorta and a full loop of Lake Como, we may suggest a car chosen for comfort and luggage room over those extra hours on the road, rather than simply offering our best-known model; a solo run through the Como tunnels or a day at Monza calls for a different car entirely. We confirm the car, chauffeur briefing if applicable, and the handover point — whether a hotel, the Porta Nuova area, or kerbside at Malpensa or Linate — in your written quote before keys change hands.
Payment and security deposit
We do not take payment through the website. Once your booking is confirmed in writing, payment is arranged directly with us by the method and timing stated in your quote.
At handover, we hold a refundable security deposit on a credit card in the main driver's name. Depending on the car, the deposit ranges from €10,000 to €250,000, as stated in your quote. The deposit is released after the car is returned, once we have checked for fines and tolls relating to the rental period. It may be used to cover unpaid fines, tolls, missing fuel, or damage for which you are liable under these terms.
Cancellation and changes by you
Because you are booking a specific car for specific dates, this is a leisure service tied to a fixed performance date. Under Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU, implemented in Italy by Article 59 of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), the general 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to this type of booking.
Instead, cancellation and changes are governed by the voluntary cancellation terms we give you in writing with your quote at the time of booking. These terms tell you, for your specific booking, by when you can cancel or change the dates and what, if anything, is refundable. If you need to cancel or change a confirmed booking, contact us at [email protected] as early as possible so we can apply the terms agreed with you.
Cancellation or changes by us
We may cancel or reschedule a booking, in whole or in part, if weather conditions make the planned use unsafe, if a technical issue affects the car's roadworthiness, or if a force majeure event outside our control prevents the rental from going ahead safely. We will tell you as soon as we reasonably can.
Where we cancel for these reasons, we will offer you a suitable alternative car or date where possible, or refund the amounts you have already paid for the affected booking. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as travel or accommodation costs, arising from a cancellation made for safety, technical or force majeure reasons.
Drivers, documents and vehicle use
The main driver must be at least 23 years old with at least 2 years of driving licence; for vehicles over 500 hp, the minimum age is 25. At handover, the main driver must present a valid driving licence, a passport or identity card, and a credit card in their own name. Non-EU licence holders may be asked to also present an International Driving Permit.
Driving abroad, track days and off-road use all require our prior written approval before the rental starts. Smoking and pets are not allowed in any of our cars.
Handover, return, fuel, mileage, fines and tolls
The car is handed over and returned at the time and place agreed in your quote, whether that is a hotel, our Porta Nuova area point, or kerbside at Malpensa or Linate. We check the car's condition with you at both handover and return.
Return the car with the same fuel level as at handover; if fuel is missing, we charge the cost of the fuel plus a refuelling service fee. Any mileage allowance applicable to your rental is the one stated in your written quote.
Traffic fines, tolls and parking charges incurred during the rental are your responsibility. We pass these on to you together with an administrative fee once we are notified of them.
Insurance, damage and liability
Insurance cover is included as described in your quote. If the car is damaged through your fault during the rental, you are liable for the insurance excess stated in your quote. Deliberate damage, damage from prohibited use, or damage arising from driving abroad, off-road use or track days undertaken without our prior written approval falls outside normal cover and is charged to you in full.
Our liability to you is limited to the value of the booking as confirmed in writing, except where liability cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Complaints, website use, governing law and changes to these terms
If something about your booking or rental is not right, tell us at [email protected] with your booking details so we can look into it and respond.
The content, car listings, images and text on milansupercarrental.com are provided to help you choose a car and arrange a rental; you may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written consent. The enquiry form and WhatsApp button are provided only to let you contact us about a booking.
These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising from a booking made through this website is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may give you the right to bring proceedings in your own country of residence.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect how we operate; the version published on the website at the time you make an enquiry applies to your booking, and any change will be confirmed to you in writing if it affects a booking already agreed.
